Amanda Pitt is to become Managing Partner for New Business & Marketing at leading media communications agency Havas Media. She will replace Debra Isaacson who left Havas Media at the end of last year. Amanda was previously Head of Publisher and Media Searches at the bespoke headhunting agency, The Lighthouse Company, where she led and developed new business. She brings over 20 years of media and sales experience across different brands and industries including the BBC and Haymarket Media Group. She will join Havas Media in February.
Amanda will drive the “fame and fortune” of Havas Media by putting in place resourceful marketing strategies and providing a modern approach to agency business development. Following the re-brand in early 2013 and the fusion of Havas digital resources across Havas Media and Arena, Havas Media will be focused on growth, promoting its data and content driven model to progressive clients looking for change.
Paul Frampton, CEO at Havas Media said: “Amanda is an exceptional networker, natural leader and has a brilliant instinct for how to initiate new relationships. She is a big industry name, fully gets the monumental shift agencies are witnessing, but also the importance of relationships and service ethic. I’m absolutely thrilled that she will be joining our team.”
Amanda added: "I've admired Havas Media throughout my career and have been particularly impressed by their rapid evolution, ambition and success in recent years. They are a talented and innovative group that is set up perfectly for future rapid growth - I am really looking forward to helping them achieve this."
The appointment follows the agency’s recent £10million Birds Eye Iglo Group and Pernod Ricard wins and Havas Media’s retention of the EDF Energy account.
