Alfredo Films Signs Director Zac Ella

Production Company Alfredo Films welcomes UK director Zacella (Zac Ella) for Canadian representation. 

Kippax born and raised, Zac is known for his zany, wacky films that combine larger than life characters with whippy camera moves, colourful production design and bold VFX.

After trying his hand at fine art, graphic design, and even as part of a music group, Zac used his grandfather’s camera to get into filmmaking which ended up launching his career as a commercial director. 

Today, Zac is known globally for his fresh, energetic and playful work, a style which he’s been able to apply to spots with McDonald’s, Cadbury, Adidas and Macy’s, to name a few. 

Executive producer Alexander Henry has to say on Zac’s signing “Zac brings a true level of artistry to his work. He is very involved in every step of the filmmaking process and it’s such an incredible thing to watch him work and see his vision come to life. He’s got such a big personality that when he’s directing everyone on set stops and watches. It’s a beautiful thing to witness.”
