AKA NYC, the award-winning, fully integrated advertising agency, has announced a wave of new hires and key promotions across the agency’s client verticals, reinforcing its commitment to delivering industry-leading expertise and innovation for its growing roster of clients.

As AKA continues to expand its reach across live entertainment, arts and culture, attractions, sports, and destination marketing, the agency has strategically bolstered its team with exceptional talent across multiple disciplines.

Strengthening Leadership Across Client Verticals

Following 10 years with AKA, Kevin Bradley has been elevated to senior vice president, Arts & Culture. In this expanded role, Kevin will continue to spearhead the agency’s Arts & Culture vertical across North America, overseeing key sectors such as museums, heritage organisations, performing arts, and botanical gardens.

Additionally, Vanessa Javier has transitioned to the title of group account director, attractions and destinations, reflecting her continued impact in leading strategic initiatives for clients in these sectors.

Matthew Martine, Kathryn Rickman, and Becky Tubbritt have been promoted to group account directors, ensuring structured leadership across the agency’s theatrical campaigns. Joining them is Ali Bloomston, newly hired from Arthouse/TodayTix Group, who brings valuable expertise to the role. Each group account director will oversee a dedicated portfolio and team, reinforcing consistency and continuity across all projects.

Key Hires Fuel Agency’s Continued Expansion

To support AKA’s growth and evolving client needs, the agency has welcomed several key new hires across creative, social, media, and business intelligence:
Hailey Barton joins AKA as senior media director, bringing 20 years of experience in media planning and strategy. She most recently served as VP, Digital Media at Serino Coyne.

Alina Bourke joined in February as media director, from Good Apple. She has ample experience across traditional and digital media leading data-driven campaigns that drive measurable engagement and ticket sales.

Sydney Guillory joins as lead analyst, business intelligence, bringing a data-driven approach to audience insights and campaign performance.

Shari Roberts supports the Agency Performance Marketing group as associate director of paid social.

Sasha Zabelina has been named creative director, social, strengthening AKA’s content-forward, data-fueled creative strategies.

Expanding to Meet Growing Client Needs

AKA’s latest growth reflects its ongoing mission to meet the ever-evolving needs of its clients while maintaining the agency’s hallmark of strategic excellence. With a near full-floor expansion at The Plant, AKA is reinforcing its physical presence in New York and strengthening its position as the premier marketing and advertising partner for theater, arts institutions, attractions, sports, and cultural destinations.

“As our client base continues to grow and diversify, our team is evolving alongside it,” said Elizabeth Furze, CEO at AKA. “These new hires and promotions are a direct response to the needs of our clients, ensuring we provide best-in-class service, innovative thinking, and strategic leadership across every vertical we serve.”
