FCB Shanghai and Manila celebrate account wins
FCB is celebrating a pair of new business wins from its Asia Pacific offices. FCB Shanghai has been appointed as leading agency of Weltmeister, the leading Chinese electronic vehicle brand and FCB Manila has won the new Double Dragon mandate. More details follow.


FCB Shanghai + Weltmeister

FCB’s Shanghai office has picked up a new mandate from leading local EV brand Weltmeister through a multi-agency pitch. FCB Shanghai will be the leading brand agency to take care the brand’s overall communication in Greater China.

According to FCB Shanghai, the new work for Weltmeister will be out soon in May. 


FCB Manila + DoubleDragon

FCB Manila has been awarded the print and TV campaign requirements for CityMall Commercial Center, the retail arm of DoubleDragon Properties Corp. 

FCB Manila will lead the brand advertising campaign for CityMall across print and television platforms that are seen to increase awareness and interest for the contemporary shopping destination catering to every Filipino in the countryside. 

DoubleDragon aims to have 60 operating CityMalls in 2019. By the end of 2020, it expects to have a total of 100 malls located in such exciting destinations like Boracay, Baler, Koronadal, Zamboanga, Cotabato, Davao, Dumaguete and Mindoro including Aparri in Cagayan province. 

Shoppers can find the most loved homegrown Filipino brands such as Jollibee, Mang Inasal and Chowking including Red Ribbon and Highlands Coffee that are also a staple in every CityMall. Aside from a modern retail grocery, the malls – which will have a floor area of 7,000-10,000 square meters – will also feature hardware stores, salons, optical shops, apparel shops, banks, ATMs, money transfer branches, dental clinics and gadget stores, among many others. Down the line, all CityMalls will eventually have a cinema.

In a text message, DoubleDragon chairman Edgar ‘Injap’ Sia expressed his anticipation of the upcoming collaboration with FCB Manila, expressing thanks to the agency and saying, “I’m looking forward to a great TVC soon!” referring to the upcoming TV commercials that will soon be produced.
