77 Ventures Partner Wyoming Whiskey Acquired by Edrington

77 Ventures Creative, leading creative agency and partner of Wyoming Whiskey, is proud to celebrate the news that Edrington, the ultra-premium spirits producer, has acquired a majority stake in the craft distillery. As creative collaborator for over ten years, this growth trajectory of Wyoming Whiskey and its reputation as a premium American Whiskey brand has been supported by the creative direction and design support of 77 Ventures Creative. 

77 Ventures president and founder Michael Haje, who spent time leading Smirnoff at JWT before starting his own agency, has grown to be both a business and creative partner for Wyoming Whiskey over the years. Since the partnership began in 2011, 77 Ventures has designed all of Wyoming Whiskey’s bottles, labels, logos, and ads, as well as led the strategy and execution for leading creative content, including the Wide Open Spaces series. The series, which was shot throughout Wyoming, including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, with actor and conversationalist Harrison Ford, was produced by Boomshot, and directed by William Atherton. It is iconic products and spots like this coupled with unique bottle labels that have solidified Wyoming Whiskey as one of the leading premium craft whiskey.

Wyoming Whiskey will continue to be made at the distillery in Kirby, Wyoming, as it integrates into the wider Edrington business. 77 Ventures Creative will continue their efforts for the brand, with Alan Leusink and Laura Erickson leading the brand creative, design, and strategy.
