Founded by American director Justin Reardon in 2016, The Royal Budapest Film Co. has quickly established itself as one of Europe's most unique production companies. With offices in Budapest, Hungary and Los Angeles, we support media production across all platforms including commercials, videos, feature film and TV. We function as a traditional production company with our roster of award-winning international directors, while also offering production service, allowing us the flexibility to shape to any type of project.
We are a company driven by great creative ideas and are supported by an experienced world-class production staff. As an international production company located in Budapest we're able to maximize the incredible artistic and financial benefits available in one of the world's top filmmaking destinations.
While a young company, The Royal Budapest Film Co. has become the go-to production resource in the region to agencies, production companies and TV networks alike; producing a variety of top-notch projects such as Emmy-nominated Documentary Now! series for IFC starring Fred Armisen, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett; as well as many high-end worldwide commercial campaigns for Heineken, Samsung, WestJet, VolksWagen, Volvic, amongst many others.
