The Corner Shop was founded in 2013 by Emmy- and BAFTA-winning, Oscar-nominated producer Anna Hashmi and acclaimed director Peter Thwaites. With offices in Los Angeles and London, The Corner Shop is a boutique production company dedicated to crafting exceptional work. From the outset, we curated a select roster of distinctive and inspiring talent. Today, our lineup features award-winning directors such as Ellen Kuras, Malik Vitthal, Ivan Grbovic, Ehsan Bhatti, Vincent Rene-Lortie, Sindha Agha and UK partner, Sara Dunlop.
Our expertise extends beyond commercials to development and production for a range of media. We are proud to have been selected as a BBC Small Indie Funding Company, with exciting projects currently in development. Our additional work includes the BAFTA-winning Channel 4 series How To Be A Person, directed by Sindha Agha; the Oscar-nominated short film Invincible, directed by Vincent Rene-Lortie; and the DOC NYC Grand Jury Prize-winning short documentary Holy Cowboys, directed by Varun Chopra.
Over the years, we have collaborated on high-profile campaigns for some of the world’s most renowned brands, including brands such as Apple, Google, Nike, Samsung, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Mercedes, P&G to Women’s Aid and The Red Cross.
