Established in 2005 by Thomas Benski and Marisa Clifford, our founding goal was to have a fluid approach to production, with all four of our award winning departments, TV, Music, Film, and Advertising, working together.
Our flexible production process and our passion for collaboration make Pulse a one-stop shop, where good ideas can cross pollinate between departments and grow to become genre busting, multi platform pieces of content.
Whether it's a film, a music video, a TV series, a commercial or a fully integrated brand campaign, we hand pick the best and most relevant talent for the job from all four departments.That is what makes Pulse Films stand apart from the rest. By having a bespoke production team on each project we can take care of all the moving parts at once.
You won't find a digital department at Pulse, rather, we have digital specialists within each of our departments. Digital is such an important and integral part of everything we do that we choose not to keep it separate and silo'ed, but integrated, woven through the entire company's DNA.

Pulse Advertising is a multi award winning advertising production team.
We work with the worlds leading creative agencies and have produced stand out commercials for brands including Kronenbourg, Puma, Lucozade, McDonalds, Aviva, Yeo Valley and Nike. We're committed to breaking new talent and launching directors into the high end commercials arena, producing both TV Ad's, integrated campaigns and brand-funded content. What sets us apart is our flexible production model and our ability to think beyond the thirty second TV format. We re-launched Myspace with an award winning fully integrated campaign (Cannes Lion 2010), developed the YouTube blogging hit 'Mystery Package' for RNLI (Cannes Lion 2009) and produced the branded entertainment feature documentary series 'Lives of the Artists' for Coca Cola's Relentless energy drink.
MUSIC
Pulse is a major player in the international music landscape.
We work with major artists and record labels and have produced a wide variety of digital and televised content. It's our passion for creative collaboration and our flexible production model thats enabled us to push the boundaries in music video production. We now produce live concert, documentary and online content, critically acclaimed feature length documentaries like "No Distance Left to Run" for Blur, as well as branded content, such as the 'Live and Lost' TV series for Blackberry.
TV
Pulse TV is renowned for its innovative concepts, cross-genre programming and high-end production values.
We have an award-winning tradition of producing groundbreaking programming, working across Factual Entertainment and Entertainment formats, Reality and Documentary. Recent work includes Pineapple Dance Studios for Sky1, and the successful Showbusiness and A Different Breed which followed, Take That: Look Back Don't Stare for ITV1, Matt Cardle: Into The Light for ITV2, and Professor Green Unseen, Sunday Brunch and Live and Lost, all for Channel 4.
FILM
Pulse's film department produces feature length documentary, drama-documentary and fiction.
Our recent productions include the critically acclaimed SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS, No Distance Left To Run, There Are No Innocent Bystanders, Werewolves Across America, Look Back Don't Stare and the forthcoming Who Is Dayani Cristal? starring Gael Garica Bernal. We like to focus on director led projects and have the ability to develop, produce and finance in-house. Several of our recent productions have enjoyed Official Selection status at Sundance, SXSW and Ambulante.
