Faber Music is an independent publisher founded in 1965 by composer Benjamin Britten, and is now one of the leading independent publishers of classical, contemporary, media, pop and printed music.

With a strong film & TV department and roots in contemporary classical music, Faber Music represents a roster of award-winning composers for media including Paul Englishby, Howard Goodall, Jonny Greenwood, Alex Baranowski, Jessica Curry, Paul Haslinger, Sarah Warne and many more. Faber Music also offers music supervision services, with Emmy award-winning credits including all three series of the BBC’s hit show Killing Eve, Sky Atlantic’s Riviera and Channel 4/HBO’s Brexit: The Uncivil War.

Faber Alt. is Faber Music’s newest division, home to the highest quality and alternative acts across a variety of musical genres, often with a crossover into our established contemporary classical and media departments. Faber Alt. provides a global rights management service to the boutique roster of artists and writers, promoting them for sync, bespoke commissions and other creative opportunities. The roster includes artists such as Boy Azooga, Jonny Greenwood, Anna Meredith, Keaton Henson, BC Camplight, Phoria, Pablo Nouvelle, Henry Green, Penelope Isles and Mesadorm.

Publishing – We work closely with all our signed artists and composers, offering creative and A&R support, providing a specialist service of worldwide copyright administration and expanding opportunities for them in different areas such as special edition books, theatre, dance and concert work commissions.

Sync – We provide creative suggestions from the Faber Alt. and Faber Music catalogues for any type of media project, whether that’s licencing our existing commercial tracks from high quality, unique artists or working with our experienced composers to craft an original soundtrack to picture.

Music Supervision – Faber’s Head of Film & TV Catherine Grieves is one of the UK’s most prominent music supervisors, working on a variety of film and TV projects including Killing Eve, Riviera, Brexit: The Uncivil War and upcoming BBC dramas Life, Us and Trigonometry.
