Are you looking for a leading role in a global production company? We're looking for an Executive Producer to lead our expert Production and Location teams across our UK offices. As Executive Producer, you will lead the Production and Location team across our UK offices. You will shape and plan productions and be responsible for managing the Heads of each stream, production and locations. At all times you will monitor resources and ensure all LS output is created to a high standard. In addition, you will ensure sales & margin targets are achieved. You will lead the sales process for all streams. This will include business trips to meet clients and attendance at key events as determined with the Business Development team to build and retain a wide industry network to help develop robust, future proof streams at LS Productions. This will be done in conjunction with our business development team to enable a rounded approach to pursuing and managing profitable new relationships, key accounts and repeat business opportunities for LS. As EP, you will support the Director of Sales and Marketing to set the yearly stream forecasts and lead the production team to achieve the forecast in collaboration with our business development team. You will have extensive experience of managing high-performance teams and a high level of production knowledge across all LS streams with excellent business and financial skills. Alongside this, you will manage the performance of all production & location staff with the Heads of Streams, Production & Locations and ensure adequate training, staff development, and performance management for all teams. In addition, you will ensure there are pathways for staff growth and work with Director of Operations to create career progression for all team members within the company. You will work closely within the Exec team on the growth & efficiency of each stream, ensuring streams are efficient and aligned, sales targets are adhered to, and the marketing of LS continues to excel. You will be expected to attend events on behalf of LS, be client-facing in meetings and industry functions, and speak when needed at public forums. You will report to the MD regularly, updating on all areas of production & locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all productions in conjunction with the Heads of Streams, Production & Locations Manage, support and mentor Heads of Streams, Production & Locations Handling all contracts and ensuring all legal requirements are in place before and during productions, including locations Ensure all financial procedures are followed during the production Attend shoots as an ambassador of the senior team Lead on enquiries, budgets and the types of work we undertake Lead the Heads of Streams to account manage and focus on increasing sales and profit margin Work with the Head of Production & Director of Operations to ensure the best procedures are in place Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of staff or key freelancers at Producer level Responsible for management of key clients and forging solid production partnerships Track recent work, trends and who’s where in the industry OTHER SKILLS You must have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Good communication skills and time management are essential. You must be able to lead a team and be good at problem-solving whilst adapting to new situations and challenges. You must be forward thinking and always look to push the business and the team to be the best it can be. SALARY Salary is negotiable depending on relevant experience. LOCATION We have offices in Edinburgh and Manchester, plus a team in London. You will be required to travel to our offices on sales trips, industry events, meetings and shoots where needed, and expenses will be provided for this. We are open to applications from Heads of Sales and Senior Directors Representatives but ask that the candidate has a minimum of 4 years Production Company Sales experience and 2 years at a Senior level. Based on a 5 day working week the Darling team are operating a hybrid working scheme with office days on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Role includes: Quickly getting up to speed with Darling’s diverse roster of directors, gaining an awareness of the work and having conversations with individual directors. Booking and running frequent Sales meetings / Screenings at advertising agencies and direct to client. Strategic targeting of agencies / brands for directors Contacting clients, existing and new Regular communication with our directors Attending industry parties and events Overseeing Treatments and the pitch process Creating bespoke showreels for directors on a per project basis Working closely with all members of the Darling team and within the wider framework of the Ridley Scott Creative Group Supervising social media strategy, PR and website updates Overseeing and working with our Junior Sales Representative / Sales Assistant giving them direction and implementing targets. Role breakdowns including areas the Junior Directors Representative are primarily responsible for covering will be provided further into the recruitment process. The ideal candidate: Strong Existing agency contacts essential.
