New Hampshire Lottery - Tax Shark

When it comes to lotteries, no one really minds when residents of one state travel across the border to buy lottery tickets in another state. Here in New Hampshire, where most of the population lives within commuting distance of Massachusetts, it’s pretty common. So, when our neighbors to the south implemented a new statewide “Millionaire’s Tax,” it was the perfect opportunity for the New Hampshire Lottery to remind those who live here, play the lottery and win, that in the Granite State, income and lottery winnings are always free from state taxes. Enter the Tax Shark, an homage to the classic 1970s SNL “Landshark” skit, re-imagined with some biting humor to remind our players to always buy their lottery tickets in New Hampshire.
