Albion has launched a new TV campaign for foreign exchange provider, FAIRFX, focusing on their Currency Card product.
The fintech company uses cloud-based peer-to-peer technology to cut out the middle man in foreign exchange transactions, lowering rates for customers. It allows holidaymakers to buy money online that can be securely transferred to a prepaid currency card, delivered as cash or paid to a foreign currency bank account. Users can also access their money via a mobile app for iOS, Android and Apple Watch.
Albion was appointed in March following a competitive pitch, and tasked with creating something that would position FAIRFX as the currency card to take on holiday. The resulting ‘You’d be mad not to FAIRFX’ campaign depicts holiday calm shattered by a TV being ‘relocated’ into the hotel pool by a customer who is livid about ‘lousy exchange rates’.
