Everyday, 60,000 new songs are launched; 720,000 new videos are uploaded; and 100 concerts are organized; while we enjoy these entertainments, the world is being damaged continuously. Banpu would like to make a game-changing solution and prove that we can use only green energy for creating and promoting songs. With the invention of E-Prompt Move, the Total Energy Solution from BANPU, it will convert solar energy into electrical energy and be stored in batteries. So, we can use these energies in every process of the creation and promotion of “Song for the Future”.

Most of Thais still don’t realize that the entertainment industry causes so much pollution to the earth every year. That’s why BanPu would like to not only raise awareness but also provide a solution at the same time. We created a campaign that aims to impact both consumers and music producers to see the importance of reducing carbon monoxide emissions and support the change to use more green energy for the whole process of production and promotion.

“Song For The Future” is a campaign which was created to let our target audiences aware of the pollution caused by the music industry and also show that there’s a better way to produce and promote a song by using only green energy. This will be the solution for a brighter future of the music industry. We chose to co-create a song titled “Brighter Sky” with Violette Wautier, a famous singer and songwriter in Thailand who appeals to the new generation of Thais with a voice for change. We would like to convey that using only green energy in music production and promotion is possible and we have an energy solution “E-Prompt Move” to support this change.

This campaign achieved good responses. As soon as the song was released, the number of views continued to increase up to more than 4 million views on Youtube and Facebook now. Also, the story behind every step of the process that using only green energy from the energy solution “E-Prompt Move” has been talked about a lot in the media, with more than 15 million baht in PR value. Moreover, Banpu’s brand survey is a lot better in many ways after launching this campaign. Banpu is recognized as an outstanding green energy company by +35%, a creative company by +17%, and a company that understands the new generation by +30%. But the most important impact of this campaign is the new generations have realized the environmental effect of the music industry, also artists and music companies see a new way of environmentally friendly music production.
