Busy people need helping hands, and sometimes the hands are their own – at least when it comes to mobile banking. In three new spots directed by Kreative Kontent’s Fro Rojas, people’s fingers dance across their mobile phones as they take care of everyday banking tasks. The campaign was created by Zubi Advertising for Chase Bank’s mobile app, which lets you deposit checks, make payments, transfer funds and check balances via a smartphone or other mobile device. “This was the most interesting casting I’ve ever done in my career,” Rojas says about the project. More than just looking for attractive hand models, he says he needed people who had a sense of rhythm, “were very fluid with their hands and comfortable in how they moved. We asked them to be expressive in their dancing, and some just took to it naturally.” The videos – “Guitar,” “Artist” and “Backpacking” – are running online and on Spanish-language media and broke last month. Rojas brought in two choreographers, Loanna Cervantes and Susie Garcia, to work with the talent on their finger-dancing moves to add to the naturalness of their performances. Agency credits at Zubi include Group CD Armando Garcia, ACD Carlos Menendez, Sr. Art Director Michelle Berrios, Director of Production Rosi Pratts and Producer J. Octavio Luna. Angel Barroeta was DP, with Tim Downing of The Cut Club editing and color correction by Oscar Martinez from Moving Forward Studios, both in Miami. Original music tracks and sound mix was provided by Personal Music, also in Miami.
