Indulge in Personalised 1-2-1 Digital Training, Guided by Sporting Legends


Embark on an extraordinary adventure of personalised digital training, led by none other than the world-famous sporting icons themselves. This unparalleled experience emerged as a captivating collaboration between Velvet Badger and Green Room Design, exclusively for the grand unveiling of PUMA's 5th Avenue flagship store in the heart of New York.




Setting the Scene


The challenge at hand was to create the digital creative content for 'Skill Cube,' an immersive training spectacle designed by PUMA.

Imagine customers stepping into the store, not just to try on PUMA's footwear, but to be instantly transported on an exhilarating journey spanning from London to the iconic San Siro Stadium in Italy. The mission? To deliver an authentic training experience, infusing customers with a total visual immersion that would ignite their senses.




Crafting the Unimaginable


To realise this extraordinary experience, the Badgers unleashed their artistic prowess, meticulously creating a vast array of visually stunning, technically intricate, and fantastically imaginative CGI assets, flawlessly integrating every aspect of the customer journey.


The culmination was a near-360 degree immersion into a meticulously remodelled san-siro stadium—a breathtaking sight featuring an astounding five million individual blades of grass and a staggering 80,000 independently moving football fans. This awe-inspiring spectacle aimed to instil unwavering pride and confidence in the user, vital to their successful completion of the trial.




Unparalleled Encounters with Sporting Icons


As the curtain rose, the user found themselves in the virtual company of the illustrious Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku—making locker room introductions and imparting their invaluable guidance. This hyper-real football experience did more than just place the user in the player's shoes; it allowed them to physically and emotionally bask in the true benefits of PUMA's remarkable footwear.




A Fitness Odyssey with Lewis Hamilton


But the excitement didn't stop there. A second, adrenaline-pumping trial awaited, this time under the tutelage of the legendary Lewis Hamilton.  Hamilton's persona was seamlessly merged into a real-life, expertly repurposed elite warehouse gym. The result was a fully immersive fitness odyssey, designed to push the limits of the user's capabilities.




The Scale of Brilliance


This remarkable PUMA project was nothing short of colossal, encompassing over 50,000 layers and gobbling up a massive 20TB of space. Over a thousand individual deliverables were meticulously crafted, all coming together to weave a spellbinding tapestry of awe and inspiration.


The fusion of imagination, technology, and sporting greatness culminated in a never-before-seen experience, etching PUMA's name among the stars of innovation and captivating the hearts of customers worldwide.
