"Brand Identity" Movie Expressing Japanese Culture and Aesthetics


Located right in the heart of Tokyo, in Shirokane-dai, HAPPO-EN is a restaurant and wedding venue featuring a spacious Japanese garden within a vast 12,000 tsubo (approximately 39,700 square meters) property.

Celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, HAPPO-EN has embarked on a transformation, transitioning from a wedding business to a venture that collaborates with community revitalization projects to produce "interactive cultural creations."

As M&C SAATCHI TOKYO, we will be the branding partner in creating a new vision and helping HAPPO-EN establish itself as a hub to disseminate Japanese culture and aesthetics to the world, through medium-term communications support.

The "Brand Identity" movie, based on the message "The Renaissance of Interactive Culture Begins," incorporates the four seasons unique to Japan – spring, summer, autumn, and winter – and integrates them with four symbols found in HAPPO-EN's Japanese garden: "cherry blossoms," "golden koi fish," "moon," and "white heron." This creates a distinctive visual representation.

This video will be featured in various places, including displays within the facility, restaurant, stores, OOH digital signage, event venues, and as the ending of web content.
