Unum, the income protection provider, commissioned a report about the future of the workplace. It uncovered some interesting revelations, but Unum needed a way to drive HR managers to view it. Albion created two animated online films - they illustrated some of the report's core findings in an engaging way, that also educated and entertained viewers. The team imagined a 1950s vision of the future, full of pop-culture references, where not all is as it seems thanks to companies ignoring the issues raised in the report. With the help of Director James Curran, Albion brought that future to life beautifully on a tiny budget. The films were made as 30-second spots so they could be dropped anywhere and the results speak for themselves; they have already gained over 100,000 views each on Unum's YouTube channel with no seeding. In addition, the view-through rate (VTR) for each is 19 per cent, which is vastly superior to the industry average and even exceeds the rate for film trailers, generally considered to be the most engaging form of YouTube content.
