JT gets to grips with culture and finance – and Viceroy Brandy.
When you’re talking culture, it’s not surprising that Spitfire Director JT springs to mind. As well as being a Director, he’s an accomplished camera operator, music composer – and a gym fanatic. The whole package! So the opportunity to direct “Vul’Umlomo: Conversations on Culture”, an initiative by Viceroy Brandy, was right up JT’s street. Which is why Grey South Africa called on him to direct an episode discussing Culture and Finance in South Africa.
Hosted by journalist Robert Marawa, JT’s episode of Viceroy Vul’Umlomo featured cultural experts Mbuso Khoza and Dr Bishop Jessica Mbangeni along with modernist Thabile Noxolo Buthelezi and traditionalist and spiritual advisor Siyabonga Mkhize who talked Black Tax, Marriage & Money and
Spirituality. Important issues and rich content that were given the respect and craft they deserved by Spitfire’s Director.
So if you have a piece of work that deserves respect and craft, open a conversation with us about directing your next job. JT’s been working out specially in preparation for your call.
