Sithi Wena – CTM and Joe Public deserve the best. Spitfire’s Katlego delivers.

To expand on its successful “Sithi Wena” campaign, CTM’s agency Joe Public needed a Director with a passion for performance and a head over heels love for comedic timing. Spitfire’s dynamic Director-going-places-fast, Katlego Baaitse, made damn sure Joe got precisely what it deserved: unwavering commitment to crafting a new series of highly entertaining and engaging CTM commercials.

In addition to reprising the Willie character (and his Kilimanjaro tiles) and Comrade Maspokes, Katlego introduced the world to mega influencer Zama Zizi with her flawless trends and Lionel, master of the bathroom serenade. Each of them demand and deserve only the very best. So does CTM.

And your work? That deserves the best too – Sithi Wena! So call us now. Katlego’s on it.

About Spitfire Films

“Where there’s a screen, there’s an opportunity.” When Spitfire Films was established a decade ago by Executive Producer Liesl Karpinski and Director AK, this was a statement of intent designed to disrupt the existing production model. And Spitfire has been doing it successfully ever since. South Africa’s first 360º content production company, Spitfire has collaborated closely with the industry’s top advertising agencies and clients to create some of the country’s most effective – and engaging – content.

From TV and cinema commercials, and hugely successful interactive digital campaigns (KFC “Shakin”), to activations for Fox Crime, Insta stories for Mumm Champagne, and SA’s first interactive horror film with Facebook Live for DSTV, Spitfire has created outstanding work for every kind of content. And built a reputation for fast turnaround times, excellent value, and high creative standards. Standards embraced by our grassroots talent who are in the process of becoming Spitfire shareholders.

But it’s the work itself that speaks the loudest to Spitfire’s intent. And talent. Please take a look.
