Grounded in science and structured using the Pomodoro method, Sallie Mae created “SoundMind” – a 17-track Lo-Fi album featuring 25-min focus and 5-min break periods, to arm students studying for finals with a resource shown to stimulate learning, filter out distractions and boost mood.
Featuring new Lo-Fi beats and soft, ambient instrumental music, the album includes tracks from:
Issac Dunbar – alternative pop singer-songwriter
Melina Mae Cortez Duterte (Jay Som) – multi-instrumentalist
TOLEDO – indie rock duo
Juan Ariza (musicariza) – producer, composer and guitarist
Chris Plante (modslee) – producer, composer and sound engineer
Launched with integrated creative agency GYK Antler, the album is streaming on Spotify and complemented by a 55-minute YouTube “album visualizer” video that features all 17 tracks set to a looping sequence of artwork designed to enhance the calming and peaceful mood of the music.
