Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is Canada’s biggest bank and one of the largest in the world, based on market capitalization. As the wealth management group continues to grow in the United States,  we looked to the ultimate stage - the PGA TOUR - to connect with the affluent, high-achieving individuals in this market. 

Within the past year, the financial industry saw dramatic changes and an overall increase in competition. With economic unease and global challenges on the rise, we needed to re-establish RBC’s brand values by showcasing their ongoing dependability as one of the largest, most trusted financial institutions to the US audience.

Expanding upon our 2022 RBC PGA golf creative, “Obstacles”, we kicked off a new campaign April 6th, called “Windy Journey”. Ushering in a new generation of golf talent via the recent additions on Team RBC - Sam Burns, Sahith Theegala and Cameron Young - we leaned into what these athletes represent. Not only are they up-and-coming stars in golf, but they embody our campaign with their fresh and new perspectives. “Windy Journey” demonstrates how RBC sees opportunities where others may not. 

The spot was brought to life by working with A-list talent behind the camera and a best-in-class production crew to heighten the tension through visual effects and sound design. The campaign is currently running on TV and across Digital platforms through August 31st.
