Brady - a fun-loving fugitive, who, in a world where joy has been outlawed, has caught the attention of two officers of The Fun Police - a particularly dreary faction responsible for enforcing public monotony - close in on innocent Brady, who, forced into a corner, now seeks refuge in a close-by dive bar with the increasing support of his somewhat unconcerned hostages-turned-accomplices.
