Sweet Baby Ray’s has launched a challenge on TikTok encouraging fans to show off their wing-eating skills with the added thrill of trying to beat the buzzer. The #SBRBuzzerEaterContest celebrates the best parts of madness that happens in March: the final seconds of a tournament game, and wings generously covered in sauce. So why not combine to two? The contest also coincides with the release of Sweet Baby Ray’s new Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce.
Sweet Baby Ray’s has created a hashtag and a custom music track (with a built in buzzer) that acts as the backdrop for videos of fans crushing wings. Entries have showcased different techniques from the “double fisted meat umbrella” to basketball trick shots, to BBQ infused shots chased by Buffalo wings.
A handful of influencers focused on food and basketball trick shots were tapped to get the ball rolling, with a total audience of 5.5 million fans. The best fan-submitted videos will come away with some Boss prizes too — a custom Sweet Baby Ray’s Pop-a-Shot and free sauce for a year.
The hashtag #SBRBuzzereaterContest has over one million views, with the contest wrapping up on Monday, April 4th.
