Nordic Pioneers - Nordic Pioneers

In 2021, Nordic Safe Cities set out on a mission. 
​They wanted to support and inspire more youth to fight for their place in our democracies, to take ownership of their local communities’ well-being, and to believe in their own ability to make a difference. 

​Above all, Nordic Safe Cities wanted to celebrate the great role played by young people in generating safe, democratic local communities. 

And today, this mission feels more relevant than ever. 

​ Across the Nordics, in each and every community, they work vigorously to create a better Nordic region. Through actions and visions, they are the first. The first to take charge. The first to arrive. The first to be first movers.

​We call them Pioneers. 
​They may speak different languages, but they are all united.
​They are a new generation with the one purpose.
​They are Nordic Pioneers.

​And they are the heroes we want to bring forward.
