The brief
POND’S needed to recreate an existing TVC and key visual for the South African market, featuring local celebrity Ayanda Thabethe. Ayanda is a household name in South Africa being a successful television host, actress, entrepreneur and supermodel.

POND’S came to Genero to find a creative team with experience working with both beauty brands and celebrities, to transform the existing TVC for India for the POND’S Perfect Colour Complex Day Cream product.

The approach
The commissioned Genero creator, Tumblefree Films, showcased great experience producing localised content for the beauty industry, as well as working with celebrity brand ambassadors. They proposed a team which could cover every aspect of the production.

The work
The recreated content highlights the product’s benefits and key messages as the original campaign does, while also being relevant and authentic for the South African market. As the brief required, it’s fresh, upbeat and modern in a style which is engaging and impactful for millennials.
