Music Supervision by Raife Burchell.

Track Placement by Raife Burchell.

Raife Burchell is a music supervisor and professional musician. Before founding Dirty Soup in London in 2011, Raife spent over fifteen years recording and touring the world as a session musician.

Having lived and breathed music his entire working life, developing the craft of music supervision was a natural transition for Burchell. It has since seen him engage many of the world's best composers, producers and music artists, and place music in award-winning feature films, documentaries, and global advertising campaigns.

Raife has also worked extensively as a music supervisor on live branded events for Spotify, GQ, Ben Sherman, Ted Baker, Topman, The Colbert Report, The Soho House Group, The Wimbledon Tennis Championships and The Cannes Film Festival – engaging artists including Alison Mosshart, George Ezra, Rita Ora, Carl Barat, Charli XCX, Tom Odell, Villagers, Hot Chip, Naughty Boy, Bat For Lashes, and Death in Vegas.

Raife made the transition into film music supervision after relocating to the US in 2016. A chance meeting with Boys director, Stacy Cochran in an East Village coffee shop lead to him being drafted in to work on Cochran's feature, Write When You Get Work, staring English acting aristocracy, Emily Mortimer. Raife also supervised the original music on, The Song of Sway Lake, directed by student Academy Award-Winner, Ari Gold. Next up was, Don't Forget Me, a uniquely beautiful dark comedy directed by Ram Nehari - a story of a highly dysfunctional romance between a woman recovering from an eating disorder and a socially awkward tuba player.

With the commercial and live arm of Dirty Soup simultaneously going from strength to strength, Raife formed a creative partnership for his Film & TV supervision work with the NYC based music supervisor, Karl Westman. Burchell and Westman have since supervised the spellbinding documentary feature, Bombshell, The Hedy Lamarr Story, directed by Emmy-award winning journalist, Alexandra Dean, produced by Adam Haggiag, and executive produced by Susan Sarandon, and, To Dust, a dark, brooding tale in which Matthew Broderick tries to help Géza Röhrigg (Son of Saul), a Hasidic cantor in upstate New York, come to terms with the untimely death of his wife.
