When the UK government announced the second national lockdown and closure of non-essential shops, it was just two days before the Christmas campaign’s delivery due date. LEAP’s dedicated account managers and producers provided quick-turnaround broadcast clearance and delivery services including technical and content compliance checks as well as post-production services.
Crucially, LEAP was able to promptly change the ad’s call to action. Motion graphics editors removed references to in-store shopping, replacing them with messaging to encourage online shopping and consultations through Clarins’ Virtual Boutique. LEAP’s account management and production team obtained broadcast clearance for the revised ad in time for the media plan deadlines. LEAP thus ensured a smooth path for UK broadcast at a key time for beauty brand advertising.
In response to the increased emphasis on online marketing, Clarins also commissioned LEAP’s editors to adapt the master creative into a series of social media ads for a range of platforms. Clarins’ Festive Treats campaign has launched across TV, BVOD and social channels.
