Coffee & TV teamed up with Mother London and Outsider’s Dom&Nic to transform the visual narrative of an ordinary seaside scene for Capital One’s new campaign.
The creative required a photoreal CG seagull to interact with the central cycling character. The meticulously crafted bird was modelled, sculpted and animated by Senior CG Artists, Josh George and Jonny Grew, with creative direction from Phil Hurrell. VFX, led by Head of Flame Nick John, effortlessly incorporated all of the CG elements, including beach huts, set extensions and even an ice cream.
Head of Colour Simona Cristea produced the colour grade to finish and illuminate the sunny and fresh appearance of the sequence.
