Our new 30s TV ad for Enterprise Rent-A-Car celebrates the brand's role in helping people get back to the things, people and places they love, after months in lockdown.
Bucking the trend of soporific Zoom-style ads that we’ve all become accustomed to, we've created a lively and optimistic spot, shot by HLA’s Simon Rattigan, that is a welcome reminder of the simple things we have all missed and can now start to enjoy again, with a little help from Enterprise.
The track ‘Back Together Again’ recorded by soul legends Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway in 1979, echoes beautifully the positive nostalgia that the ad radiates.
‘Back Together’ will run in the UK and Germany throughout July and August across TV, VOD, digital and social.
Jim Stoeppler, Vice President of European Brand Marketing, Enterprise says: “As we emerge from lockdown, we recognise people are excited to get back to doing all the things they love, but have been unable to do for the past three months. Our goal with this campaign is to reassure them we’re ready when they are. And with our new Complete Clean Pledge and contactless rentals, they can be confident knowing we’re taking the proper precautions to protect the health and safety of our customers and our employees. Whatever their mission.“
Tom Ewart, CCO and Founding Partner, The Corner says: “After three months of zoom calls, it was great to get back out there in the real world doing what we love most - making stuff. Enterprise played a key role during lockdown as an essential service, so it’s nice to now be able to celebrate some kind of return to normal with this optimistic, uplifting film.”
