‘We open on a wide establishing shot of a small remote Icelandic village’, how often does when get a script that begins with this line? Not often.

That’s where our journey began.

For obvious reasons, this was a dream job.

They Shoot Films are truly grateful to have been part of this incredible campaign.

The shoot took place in Iceland, August 2017.

They Shoot Films, were the first South African production company to ever shoot in Iceland.

The commercial was directed by Alan Irvin.

This solidifies that when it comes to humor and especially South African humor, Alan knows exactly how to pull this off.

True North was the service company that produced the job in Iceland.

The script originated through the exceptional creative team from Joe Public United, consisting of Pepe Marais, Xoliswa Dyeshana, Natalie Walker & Marjolien Rossouw. Agency producer Yash Raidu and group account director, Amber Mackeurtan. A dream team for any production company to work with.
