Needless to say, back-to-school time is key for our long-time client, Maple Leaf Foods. Their objective was to drive off-shelf display and incremental sales of their brands that are most popular in Atlantic Canada. With the insight that Canadians in the Atlantic provinces are very loyal to regional brands and products, we developed a number of relevant offers featuring different local favourites. We then pre-tested the concepts with targeted shoppers to identify the most appealing offer. Savings on Honey Crisp apples was the clear favourite, and perfectly complemented, healthy, back-to-school lunches centered around Maple Leaf’s Atlantic Canada brands.
