Kruger Products was planning their biggest multi-brand promotion yet. For an investment this big, we needed to be sure we had the right idea. So we tested a range of concepts and offers with targeted shoppers to find out what resonated most, and would ultimately drive participation and sales. The result was our Tear Open & Win ‘golden ticket’ promotion. Three winning tickets for a whopping $50,000 prize were hidden inside participating Scotties, SpongeTowels, Cashmere or Purex products across the country. Consumers could also play the online game for a share of $1,000,000 in additional prizes. The promotion was supported by a combination of packaging, POS, digital advertising and social media. It proved to be a huge success, overachieving on the key objective of driving in-store displays.
