Verner Panton Panthella Chrome
The iconic Panthella Chrome lamp from Louis Poulsen set to relaunch in beautiful chrome! This was music to our ears, so we started a journey of digging deep into mirrors and reflections. It became clear to us just how vast and seemingly endless the possibilities were with reflective surfaces and the wondrous distortions that can occur.
Obviously Panton carries an enormous heritage of colours and pattern designs so the challenge of translating that style into pure reflections and mirrored surfaces proved to be very interesting and rewarding.
We aimed to capture the optical illusory sensation of repeated and warped reality, resulting in all manner of reflections and mirror arrangements. Pure chrome playtime!
