Until you actually strap on skates and experience the game of hockey first-hand, it is impossible to understand the speed, power and sheer violence involved in every 60-minute game. From bone shattering hits, gladiators pummeling each other with bare fists and a 3” rubber disk fired at speeds of over 100 mph, hockey is the embodiment of danger. With a :60 film, we wanted to bring that feeling to life on a sensory level. Beneath the bright lights and sponsorship glamour, rests a visceral undercurrent of emotion, tragedy and triumph.
