The “Football is…” campaign for BBC Sport is set to reaffirm the broadcaster’s popularity and inclusivity for all fans ahead of the new football season. The 40” TV and 30” radio trails demonstrate how football is ingrained in the fabric of Britain, bringing to life the relationship of all types of fans with the beautiful game.
BBC Sport’s multimedia coverage of the sport in all forms means football truly is for all of us. The trails represent a new, more accessible positioning for football on the BBC.
The campaign launches on TV and radio with plans to further ingrain this positioning through editorial and content throughout the 2017/18 football season.
