Working with the wonderful Knock Knock, Feed Me Light was delighted to be part of the team commissioned to produce a series of five TV idents that introduced the Cheerios family during episodes of ITV’s Big Star’s Little Star. Drawing inspiration from Ardman’s fabulous Creature Comforts, the series of idents characterised the cereal as members of an everyday family. Examples included the two young Cheerios being called to the sofa (or in this case, the banana) because an episode of Big Star’s Little Star was about to start. And then the young boy Cheerio telling the world that his Daddy used to give dog treats to people who eat them because they looked like chocolate buttons. Feed Me Light produced and directed the animation to fit with the concepts, voiceover and music developed by KnockKnock.
