Mrs Claus, arguably Santa’s better half and the First Lady of Christmas, takes centre stage in Marks & Spencer’s Christmas 2016 campaign.
Created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, Mrs Claus is shown to play a special role at Christmas, helping a select few make Christmas special for their loved ones – just like women everywhere.
The TV ad, directed by Oscar-winning Tom Hooper and with a soundtrack composed by Rachel Portman, tells the story of a Christmas delivered with love. Mrs Claus uses female intuition and state of the art technology to help a younger brother find an extra special present for his sister to show how much he cares.
