With the Oscars, one of the biggest celebrations of storytelling, Getty Images saw the opportunity to introduce its stock images into the social conversations around the illustrious event. We knew that not many people get the chance to see the Best Picture nominees each year, so we helped them catch up before the big night by recreating each of the Best Picture nominees into a 15-second short films using only Getty’s stock images. With 2M impressions, 500K Facebook video views, and 13K likes on Instagram, the campaign garnered online buzz amongst movie fans worldwide, and truly demonstrated that Getty’s stock images have the power to tell real human stories.
