The Melbourne Flower Market is among Australia’s largest wholesale markets, with hundreds of florist businesses frequenting the market each week to buy fresh stock.

But the market’s operation was being threatened by a rise in sexist jokes and comments towards female visitors from the largely male stallholder community.

To help combat this behaviour, our posters exposed perpetrators as embarrassing fools, and messaging clearly established sexist jokes as serious sexual harassment that was unacceptable.
