Quip made its name as a Brooklyn-born DTC disruptor. But with the launch of its most innovative toothbrush yet [The Ultra], they were ready to go head-to-head with the Oral Overlords. This wasn’t just another product release. It was a category leading shakeup, as well as an important product launch.
Cue the mouth trumpet.
No lab coats. No gingivitis monsters. Instead, we created a spokesmouth-led campaign that was equal parts playful and educational. We introduced Ultra’s category-redefining features, but more importantly, we got people rethinking oral care, and viewing quip as an industry leader.
Our scope spanned brand strategy, competitive analysis, creative platform development, design refresh, and full production across film, stills, and scripts. The product film and sales deck flipped multiple retailer “no’s” into “how soon can we stock it?” And we may have coined the term “spokesmouth”.
Quip’s been in the game for a decade. After just one month, the Ultra campaign has become their best-performing launch ever.
