A celebration of REBL car culture around the globe; Japan edition.
As the next generation of fans continue to explore the power and potential of car culture, we are setting out to bridge the gap between the streets and the track across the globe.
Using Oracle Red Bull Racing’s REBL spirit to authentically tap into diverse car culture conversations and communities across the globe, we kicked off ORBR’s global tour in the heart of Tokyo - with a traditional car meet with several special creations that encompass the shared REBL spirit of the brand, its partner, and the Japanese ‘JDM’ scene.
As a tribute to the most successful engine partnership in history between ORBR and Honda, our REBL Car Culture meet launched an exclusive ORBR x Honda x Neighbourhood apparel collection and featured the special edition Japan GP livery on both the RB21 (representing the sport) and a bespoke modified Honda NSX (representing the culture).
250 fans and media braved zero- degree temperatures, rain and wind to see newly crowned ORBR 2nd driver, Yuki Tsunoda step out of the Honda NSX surrounded by 30 of JDM’s finest tuned cars from the Tokyo Drive community.
HERO FILM
Our content follows Dino DC (Speed Hunter Japanese correspondent and JDM oracle) driving the NSX through the streets of Tokyo, uncovering the stories, communities and characters that embody Japanese REBL car culture; past, present, and those shaping its future.
The iconic white ORBR Honda NSX acts as the window into the unique heritage, spirit and attitude of Japanese car culture through authentic storytelling, creating a docu-promo style short film reflects the feeling of the scene it represents.
The film had over 320k YouTube views in the first week, making it one of ORBR’s most successful launches of branded content outside of the track to date.
