The International University Sports Federation selected the Adirondack Sports Council and Lake Placid to host the World University Games—a prestigious global festival and winter sports competition. Our task was to upgrade the Games’ placeholder website with an online experience worthy of the biennial event. Flynn partnered closely with client stakeholders and their brand agency Sidekick over three years to meticulously design, build, and refine the new website. Launched to the public in multiple phases, the site showcased 12 winter sports, 85 competitive events, and numerous venues. And with the Games in full swing, the website welcomed nearly 30,000 visitors per day.
