After acquiring Tommy Armour, once considered one of golf’s top brands, DICK’S Sporting Goods wanted to make a splash with the launch of Tommy Armour’s Atomic line of clubs. No easy task in crowded space with better known, well-funded competitors. We knew distance was king with our target golfers, so we played up the power that the Atomic driver allowed them to unleash, leaning into the “atomic bomb” metaphor and featuring a nuclear blast in all our creative. All shooting, editing, and motion graphics were done by our in-house video production studio.
