Paula is a young woman who lives and works on the estate of a bourgeois family, taking care of their children. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers she is pregnant by a young man who refuses to take responsibility for his fatherhood. Paula decides to hide the pregnancy and seeks abortion as a solution, but alone and without money, the task is anything but easy.
