The much anticipated launch of Nike’s Air Presto Ultra Flyknit campaign is a playful project celebrating everything Presto. Six shoes, six exclusive colours, six unique transformations.
We were commissioned by More Soon to create six 15 second animated films individually representing the different ‘icons of happiness’.
The challenge here was creating a fluid motion that seamlessly blended the photoreal surfaces and textures of the presto shoes into their characterful icons designed by Chris Labrooy. We used a number of techniques from classic deformers to rigged models with cloth for secondary motions.
