In a China that only moves ever faster, “Lost & Found” is a piece to turn ancient crafts into newfound treasures for today’s generation.

Part of Airbnb’s efforts alongside local governments to bring Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) experiences in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Qiandongnan through their platform, this is a documentary series towards preserving endangered practices for a world that has forsaken them for modernity.

It’s about more than just making a film for Airbnb. It’s about sparking new appreciation for traditions that are centuries-old, and pulling them back from the brink of extinction so that they’ll continue for centuries to come.
