NSPC Brain & Spine Surgery
2019 Platinum MarCom Award Winner
As the largest independent neurosurgical practice in the tri-state area, Neurological Surgery P.C. has been helping patients return to health with the most advanced neurosurgical techniques for more than 60 years. The practice’s independent status enables its physicians to provide a higher level care that is personally best for each patient, as they are not subjected to corporate policies and procedures like their hospital network counterparts.
Located in one of the most medically competitive markets, the Long Island-based practice required a powerful platform that could convey their competitive advantage while also informing Long Islanders of their proximity to world-class care. Further compounding the challenge was the misconception that neurosurgeons should only be contacted as a last resort for a treatment. In stark contrast, NSPC’s surgeons are able guide to patients through all modalities of brain and spine treatment and thus audiences needed to be educated to turn to NSPC as their first point of call.
Prager Creative embraced these challenges to craft a sophisticated brand position and comprehensive campaign with multiple ad executions. Anchored on the premise of “Advanced Treatment Starts Here”, we clarified and refined the most compelling brand statements to emphasize the practice’s independence, dedication to patient care, and exceptional results. The campaign not only talks to NSPC’s unique advantages as a practice, it allows audiences to understand there is a better, more advanced approach to medical treatment that ensures patients’ needs always come first.
The strength of the campaign was recognized in the 2019 MarCom Awards, where it was awarded Platinum – the highest honor – in the Television Campaign category. With more than 6,500 entries from across the United States, Canada, and 18 other countries, the MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals. It is one of the oldest, largest, and most-respected creative competitions in the world.
