Google Play - Black History Month Artist Spotlight – Laci Jordan
For Black History Month 2024, we partnered with Google Play and artist Laci Jordan to tap into her unique creative vision, where she created a series of beautiful illustrations celebrating black heritage. She was asked to create a series of 5 illustrations that represented her idea of "Afrofuturism" and what Black History Month means to her. Her artwork was featured across the Google Play Store in various formats.
To capture Laci’s energy, our in-house creative and production teams led graphics and motion design, shoot production, and editing to promote her partnership with Google Play. The result was a highly-impactful social film that got over 49,000 views and received high priase and accolades from her following.
Our LA-based team members Zak, Alex, and Gabriela joined Laci at various locations throughout LA for a single day to document her creative vision and personality. Only having one day for production proved to be a logistical challenge. But, our team, with Laci’s positive vibes, captured some amazing footage.
