Advertising agency barrettSF has created a new ad for the much-anticipated WWE 2K16 video game for client 2K, which is being released on October 27 in the U.S. "Bonfire" depicts the WWE's biggest stars as they contemplate haunting matches and rivalries of the past. With the voices of their enemies echoing in their heads, the stars each take a relic of these rivalries and toss it into the conflagration. When everything has been torched, the spot takes a turn and their redemption begins. Steve Sapka President Sapka Communications Steve joined Crispin Porter + Bogusky in 2000 in the Media department and moved to the Communications department several years later. In 2009, he became the vice president, director of global communications and media relations for all of the CP+B offices, including Canada and Europe.

Under Steve’s guidance, CP+B and its clients’ work have been featured extensively throughout the trade and consumer press, including features in the New York Times, the New York Times magazine, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Financial Times, BusinessWeek, Fast Company, Campaign, Adweek, Advertising Age and various television shows around the globe.

In June of 2011 Steve opened Sapka Communications. Drawing from a decade of experience prominently positioning the work and clients of advertising agency CP+B, he will bring his expertise to bear for clients of SapkaComm, an independent agency specializing in communications for marketing and advertising firms. He has served on the 4A’s Agency PR committee and supports local and national charities that benefit youth at risk and animal welfare.

Steve is a native of Boston and graduated from Florida International University.
