Challenge
Up against the behemoth of Barbenheimer, and on a fragment of the budget, we needed to find a way to create buzz around the release of the new horror film Talk To Me.
Idea
Gaming offered us an opportunity not just because we knew horror fans were big gamers, but it gave us an environment untouched by other film released at that time.
To generate buzz we created the world’s first Fortnite integration in Deadpines. Bringing the IP of the film to life; allowing horror fans to literally play the film. We ensured the game couldn’t be missed through streamers both playing and promoting the trailer.
We achieved scale and drove attention through mobile gaming environments via in game billboards and reward videos promoting the trailer.
